What Does A Full Grown Maltipoo Look Like?

Full Grown Maltipoos look like little fluffy teddy bears as they have round heads, floppy ears and soft, wool-like coats that are medium in length. Overall, Maltipoos have a small stature however there is size variation depending on whether the Maltese was bred with a Teacup, Toy, Miniature or Standard Poodle. They come in many coat colors including black, white, red, apricot, black & white, chocolate, cream and grey however white and cream are the most common. Full Grown Teacup Maltipoos are 6 to 7 inches (15.2cm to 17.8cm) tall at the shoulder and weigh approximately 5 pounds (2.3kg). Their very small size makes them extremely delicate and fragile. They are also more susceptible to size related health issues such as poor bone density, heart defects, kidney problems etc. which is why there is a lot of debate surrounding whether breeding ‘teacup’ dogs is ethical.

Full Grown Toy Maltipoos are 8 to 10 inches (20.3cm to 25.4cm) tall and weigh just under 10 pounds (under 4.5kg). They are the second smallest Maltipoo size. Like Teacup Maltipoos, Toy Maltipoos can suffer from size related health issues.

Full Grown Mini Maltipoos are 10 to 12 inches (25.4cm to 30.5cm) tall and weigh 10 to 20 pounds (4.5kg to 9.1kg). They are the second largest Maltipoo size.

How much a full grown Maltipoo weighs depends on the size of Poodle the Maltese was bred with. Teacup Maltipoos are the lightest and Standard Maltipoos are the heaviest. Toy and Mini Maltipoos are in the middle of the weight range for Maltipoos.
